WCs outdoors
Saturday 16th September 2023 | 09:00 - 17:30
Basecamp at KendalWall
What is WCS outdoors?
A day of outdoor climbing workshops with expert women coaches and instructors. Connect with other climbers, develop your outdoor skills, and be part of an inspiring day with the Women’s Climbing Symposium community!
Sign up for a trad, bouldering, or sport climbing workshop, with options available for both new and intermediate outdoor climbers.
When?
Saturday 16th September
09:00 - 17:30
Where?
We’ll meet at the KendalWall for teas/coffees and introductions, and each group will head to a local outdoor venue from there.
Who is this for?
While WCS seeks to support and lift up women climbers, we want to open up this event to all genders, and allow anyone to attend that would like to be part of a female led and women majority event. This means that all genders including non-binary and men are welcome to attend.
Due to insurance, ratios and safety requirements, this event is open to adults. Anyone aged 16 or 17 is also welcome but will need to attend with a parent or guardian who is signed up to the same workshop.
Each workshop description outlines any prior climbing experience needed, so please make sure you only sign up to a workshop that is suitable for you.
What will I need?
