A core aim of WCS is to connect, and we're encouraging all ticket holders to join the WCS: Connect Facebook Group. It's private and it's just yours - a WCS Team Member will be holding and monitoring the space to ensure that only WCS ticket holders have access.
Not everyone traveling to WCS will live in Kendal, and not everyone will attend WCS with a friend. So shout out where you are - it may be that someone is local and fancies meeting up for a climb in these next few weeks or practising your newly honed skills with another day at the crag the day after! Travelling over in your car? Why not see if anyone wants a ride - it's good for the environment and it's great for your bank account.
Why not use this WCS event to make yours and someone else's experience even better? After all, an experience shared is double the fun and you may even make a new climbing partner in the process.

Why not make time for a social climb?
WCS Outdoors is a fantastic opportunity to connect with other climbers, but a full day with a jam-packed schedule does minimise the space and time free for socialising. That's why we're including (and encouraging!) you to join the next day for an optional 'Connect & Climb' bouldering session. It may also make a fantastic wet weather day option if you can't get out to the rock!
**Please note: Connect and Climb will be bouldering only. This is not an instructed session and you will be responsible for your own wall entry fee and will need to complete a waiver to register as an independent climber. However, WCS Director Esther will be on hand to chat and keep the psych high. Please wear your WCS wristband to easily identify other WCS climbers!**
