WCS17 Headline Speaker: Lynn Hill

We are absolutely delighted to announce that Lynn Hill will be headlining this year's Women's Climbing Symposium.
Lynn Hill is a living legend. The first woman to climb 5.14 and on-sight 5.13b, in 1994 she changed the boundaries of what is possible in rock climbing with the first free ascent – man or woman - of The Nose on El Cap.
Lynn has competed all over the world, and her big wall skills have also taken her to first ascents in Kyrgyzstan and Madagascar.
Currently living in Boulder, Colorado, she balances her time between climbing, running, skiing, travels and raising her son Owen.
Lynn says: “I’m really happy to join the Women’s Climbing Symposium, bringing women of all ages and ability level together. As more women are introduced to climbing, the world of climbing becomes a more healthy, happy and balanced community!”

At its core, Block Blast is a simple puzzle game that challenges players to place different shaped blocks onto a grid, typically an 8x8 board. The goal is to fill rows or columns completely, causing them to disappear and awarding points. Unlike traditional falling-block block blast free games, the pieces in Block Blast do not drop from above. Instead, players are given a selection of blocks and can place them anywhere on the board, provided there is enough space. This mechanic introduces a layer of strategy that differentiates it from older games and encourages thoughtful planning rather than quick reflexes.
